The Andy Baker Tape with Director & Lead Actor Bret Lada

The Andy Baker Tape with Director & Lead Actor Bret Lada

August 5, 2022

This episode features the multi-talented Bret Lada. Not only did he direct and star in his newest release, The Andy Baker Tape, but with a crew of four, he had his hands in every possible aspect of filming.

The movie is a mockumentary that follows two brothers in a thrilling, horrifying plot that comes to a shocking conclusion you'll have to wait to see for yourself. As Lada says, while he is told there are comparisons in his film to Creep. I also learned that he sees the film as Planes Trains and Automobiles meets The Blair Witch Project.

We had a killer time, and it's a great flick for anyone who loves the found-footage genre. Check out our chat, and be sure to share your thoughts on the interview, as well as who you'd like to hear from next!

Dawn with Lead Actors Jared Cohn & Jackie Moore

Dawn with Lead Actors Jared Cohn & Jackie Moore

August 5, 2022

I had the chance to sit down and speak with the stars of a new horror film called Dawn, a movie that explores what horrifying possibilities getting into a rideshare vehicle with a stranger could have.

Jared Cohn and Jackie Moore lead the film, and we spoke about their characters, their approach to the roles, and how they initially got involved in the thriller. They shared their inspiration to join the acting world in the first place, and we also talked about the other projects they've been working on.

It was a hilarious and wonderful time between the three of us and it clocks in at just over half an hour, so be sure to grab your popcorn. And don't forget to check out Dawn!

Birdgirl, Community, & Duck Tales with Paget Brewster

Birdgirl, Community, & Duck Tales with Paget Brewster

July 28, 2022

Paget Brewster joins me in this episode, and I couldn't be happier. Not only do we speak about her return as the titular character in Birdgirl after playing the same role back in Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, but we also dive into my absolute FAVORITE series, Community, and even touch on Duck Tales.

We talk about how she utilizes her voice for the characters of Birdgirl and Judy, how it was just like riding a bike, and why she thinks you should never binge-watch a show you're in. Now the show is on Season 2, Birdgirl is soaring on Adult Swim, and that is largely due to Paget's excellent performance.

We discuss her work with Danny Pudi on both Community and Duck Tales since they've worked on multiple projects. Asking what universe she'd like to see Birdgirl and Judy travel to that Paget has also acted in, we were united in choosing Community.

This is one of my favorite episodes I've done in a long time, and I really think you will all enjoy it. Be sure to check out Community, Duck Tales, and especially Birdgirl, the latter of which can be seen on Adult Swim.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous with Showrunner & Executive Producer Scott Kreamer

July 19, 2022

This episode features the hilarious and outrageously talented Scott Kreamer. Though Scott has been on the show once before, we got him back for the project he is promoting now - Season 5 of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

Kreamer is always an excellent guest, so we chatted about his love for Jurassic Park and Michael Crighton's initial novel. We speak about the diversity in the show with characters like Kenji, Sammy, and Darius and why it's so important for the audience to be able to see some of themselves in the human characters despite the thrilling dinosaurs.

Scott speaks about the children have grown over five seasons and what could potentially be in line for their future, even if it's something after the final season. He mentions that this chapter is closing on them, but their capability has grown a lot through the show.
